Robert Dean

Orange County AttorneyAs the senior member of the firm, Mr. Dean has litigated a broad range of legal matters. He carries a stellar reputation and is rated AV in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. His vast experience includes matters of sexual discrimination, Federal EEOC cases, unfair competition, UCC-1 matters, and lawsuits arising from the sale of business. He has also litigated environmental and toxic tort issues, products liability, and a broad spectrum of insurance matters. Having worked with both plaintiffs and defendants, Mr. Dean's advocacy skills cannot be surpassed.

Mr. Dean, an experienced litigator, is admitted in several jurisdictions to better serve his clients. He practices in all California state and federal courts and is also licensed at the U.S. Supreme Court level. Mr. Dean's clients know that, should their cases move on to appeal, Mr. Dean will guide them through to completion.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dean was a claims superintendent with State Farm Insurance Company. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute. He has served as a Judge Pro Temp in the Orange County Superior Court and as an arbitrator for the Orange County Superior Courts for over 25 years. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.

Mr. Dean was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and attended Michigan State University where he received a degree in Police Administration. He then completed Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. Most recently he attended California State University Fullerton and received an M.A. in anthropology in 2005.
