W. Glenn Johnson
Mr. Johnson, has been a partner and past member of Spray Gould and Bowers since 1987, specializes in civil litigation in matters of product liability, personal injury, motor vehicle accident, wrongful death, sexual assault, construction, insurance, unfair trade practices, civil fraud, contracts, and commercial law. Mr. Johnson's extensive jury trial and arbitration experience in all of the Southern California courts have given Mr. Johnson the opportunity to refine his advocacy skills in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. He shares his litigation knowledge and experience handling claims with frequent seminars available to his professional colleagues. He has been a member of Southern California Fraud Investigators and Southern California Defense Association.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Johnson was Corporate Counsel to Sta-Lube Chemical, where he specialized in cases involving employment matters, contract issues and claims concerning toxics, environmental regulation, intellectual property, and commercial law. All these experiences contribute to Mr. Johnson's success as a mediator and arbitrator in the Los Angeles and Orange County Superior Courts. He was also lead trial counsel in several published cases, including Talavera v. Nevarez (1994) 30 Cal.App.4th Supp. 1 and Pino v Campo (1993) 15 Cal.App.4th Supp. 1.
To stay in touch with the community, Mr. Johnson has volunteered his time as Counsel for Court Appointed Trustee since 1996 and has remained active as a mentor at Harbor High School since 1997. He has also served as Judge Pro Temp for the Orange County Superior Court and is certified as a Temporary Judge and Settlement Officer.
Mr. Johnson has been admitted to practice law in California since 1981 and also practices in the U.S. District Court Central District of California. He served on the Natural Resource Law Forum of his alma mater, the University of Utah Law School, graduating in 1980. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1976, from the University of Utah as an Economics Major. He was born in 1953 in Riddley Park, Pennsylvania.
