Keith E. Walden
Keith Walden has been with the firm since 1976. He served as the firm’s President from 1985 – 1989 and from 1991 – 1996, and as Managing Partner from 2001 – 2004.
Mr. Walden is an accomplished trial lawyer. He has served as lead trial counsel in more than 50 civil jury trials. He has handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. His considerable experience in the courtroom includes issues of employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, product liability, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation. His commercial litigation experience includes breach of contract, franchise disputes, creditor rights, and unfair competition.
He is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory as an AV rated lawyer, and became a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 1987. He has served as a chairman of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and as an Arbitrator for the Superior Court. He has participated in reported cases, including State Farm v. Westchester (C.D. Cal. 1989) 721 F. Supp. 1165 and American Home v. Hagadorn (1996) 48 Cal.4th 1898.
Mr. Walden was born in Los Angeles, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1973, and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles in 1976. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1976.
